AACCLA’s Mid-Year Meeting in Washington, D.C. last week included an excellent internal program and lobbying agenda. Below is a very brief summary of the key topics and action items from our meetings:

 

The General Assembly agreed to hold the 2010 Mid-Year Meeting in Peru and AACCLA leaders pledged support to AmCham Peru to ensure a successful
event.

American Chamber/Mexico as part of its mission to strengthen bilateral relations has prepared an assessment of where Mexico is, in the context of the global economic crisis, violence related to drug trafficking and the recent influenza health threat.  AmCham is sharing this document with members of the United States Congress and high level government officials in both countries.
